The Levitate Art and Music Festival is New England’s premier celebration of music and art culture. Nora Vasconcellos is from the region and friends with Levitate’s founder, Dan. Dan wanted to include some skateboarding activities and recruited Nora to host. Platform Group designed and built a custom mini-ramp that became an active gathering point throughout the weekend-long event. Set up on site and skated during the Festival, the ramp was open to both invited guests and local skaters. With Nora in the lead and The Boardr producing the activation, a memorable, low-barrier skate experience was woven directly into the festival atmosphere.
